As election season gets underway, the issue of immigration is again sparking debate. This week, Republican gubernatorial candidate Steve Poizner released an ad calling for an end to state-funded services for undocumented immigrants, a move many Latinos call divisive. His primary opponent, Meg Whitman, is being advised by former governor Pete Wilson, whose support for Prop. 187 is credited for driving Latino voters into the Democratic Party. All families are changed when a loved one dies. For military families, the loss is often compounded by the special circumstances of dying in a war. But many aren't getting the food aid they need. Angels Flight Flies Again

Angels Flight is an inclined railway that offers a really quick trip from the heart of the business district to a hill. The historic railway recently reopened.
