Major league baseball's opening day is less than two weeks away, and it coincides with something the league would just as soon forget: the steroids scandal involving Barry Bonds. The former San Francisco Giants star goes on trial Monday, accused of lying to a federal grand jury investigating the Bay Area Laboratory Cooperative, known as BALCO.
