Filing taxes can be confusing enough, but for registered domestic couples it can be downright baffling. Six states have now legalized same-sex marriage, but the federal Defense of Marriage Act is still the law of the land. In California, some gay rights activists have pushed for federal recognition using the tax code, and they got it. But the success came at a cost. Reporter: Rachael Myrow
