Thousands of people showed up for the "Cirque Des Sciences" Open House on October 15, 2011 at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory.
In the hills overlooking the UC Berkeley campus, scientists at Lawrence Berkeley National Lab study fusion power, supernovas and lead the way in cutting edge scientific research. Each year, the facility hosts an open house, and this year's circus-themed event featured jugglers, Einstein-impersonating stilt-walkers and Berkeley Lab's own rhythm and blues band.
