New information emerging about problems at the San Onofre nuclear power plant suggests the facility may remain offline for several more months. Members of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission met in San Juan Capistrano last night to share details of their investigation. Reporter: Alison St. John

There are more than 1,400 dams in California. When the earliest of them was built, the goals were clear: store water, control floods and generate electricity.
