State Accused of Denying Seniors Day Care Access

Community-Based Adult Services (CBAS) is a stripped-down version of California's previous adult day care program. Now, a lawsuit pending against the state claims that bottom-line-minded health officials are blocking more than 2,000 seniors from getting the help they need to stay out of more expensive institutions.
