President Barack Obama is winning re-election tonight and carrying California -- although by a smaller margin than he did four years ago, at least at this point. Senator Dianne Feinstein is also coasting to re-election with 57 percent of the vote over Republican Elizabeth Emken.
Looking at some of California's ballot measures, Proposition 30 is narrowly trailing at this point, with about 14 percent of precincts reporting. Prop. 32, which would limit political donations in particular from unions, is trailing 51 to 49 percent. Proposition 34, which would repeal the death penalty, is currently behind 56 to 44 percent.
