The members of the Palm Springs High School "Spirit of the Sands" band have been fundraising for the last few weeks to go to the presidential inaugural parade.
More than 100 kids from the Coachella Valley are descending on Washington this weekend. They're taking part in Monday's inaugural parade. The kids are part of the "Spirit of the Sands" marching band from Palm Springs High School -- and they're the only contingent from California in the parade.
