Illegal Immigration Debate Heads to the Senate

It has been a week of protests organized by supporters of immigrant rights: a hunger strike in San Francisco, a rally in Sacramento, and a high school walk-out in L.A. All were protesting a bill passed by the House that cracks down on undocumented immigrants. More demonstrations are planned over the weekend in anticipation of Monday's meeting of the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee.
