Allegations of Abuse at Immigration Detention Center

On any given day, there are thousands of immigrants in California and throughout the U.S. awaiting deportation hearings. Some came with their families, and the question of where to house these families has long troubled U.S. officials. New detention centers designed to keep families together were supposed to offer a solution, but one of these facilities has come under scrutiny amid allegations that immigrants are being mistreated.
