Listen to RealMedia Stream
A national homeless count released Wednesday by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development estimates that there
were 754,000 homeless people living in the United States in 2005. About a quarter of those people live in California. But
some homeless advocates argue that the figure understates the scope of the problem. Guests: Brian Sullivan, spokesman for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development; Paul Boden , director of the Western Regional Advocacy Project.
