Remote Stretch of Santa Barbara Coast Sold to Developer

For decades, Point Conception in Santa Barbara County has been a remote, isolated place favored by surfers, cowboys and artists. It includes Bixby Ranch, a 25,000 acre cattle ranching operation. Earlier this year the ranch was sold to a Los Angeles developer for $140 million. That raises questions about what comes next for this piece of paradise.
