The state department of fish and game launches an all-out war on a toothy invasive fish called the Northern Pike. The pike has taken over Lake Davis in rural Plumas County, about an hour north of Lake Tahoe. Starting today, that lake will be closed to visitors and will likely stay that way for several months.
