Superdelegates -- Superdelegates may decide who wins the Democratic nomination for president. As the program reports, many of them are getting a little tired of being pressured.

Protesting in Twentynine Palms
ListenListen (RealMedia Stream)
It's been a week of protests and remembrances as the fifth anniversary of the Iraq War ignited passion on all sides of the issue. Support for the war in California is often strong around military bases, where soldiers and their families are part of the community fabric. The small Mojave Desert town of Twentynine Palms is home to the nation's biggest Marine Corps base. Residents there will hold a peace vigil next week. A few years ago, that would've been unthinkable in a town that reveres its Marines. But as the war goes on, a grassroots peace movement is gradually gaining acceptance and adding new recruits.

Superdelegates
ListenListen (RealMedia Stream)
The Iraq War is one issue driving up voter turnout in this year's presidential campaign. So far, more than 25 million Americans have cast their votes in the Democratic presidential primaries and caucuses alone. But when all the voting is done, neither Barack Obama nor Hillary Clinton is likely to have enough pledged delegates to win the nomination. In the end, it will probably be up to some 800 Democratic Party insiders -- the superdelegates -- to put one of them over the top. California has 71 superdelegates, more than any other state -- and they're being watched like rats in a clinical trial.

Los Angeles has 103 streets named after saints, from Saint Andrews Place to Santa Ynez Street. For the past eight years, artist J. Michael Walker has researched and traveled to each and every one of them. What he found were parallel stories and lives of the saints and the people now living on streets named after them.
