If you've had to replace any car tires recently, you've probably noticed the?ve gotten more expensive. And the average price for a gallon of regular gas just topped four dollars in California. Throw in car payments, insurance, parking and tolls -- not to mention environmental concerns -- it's enough to make many car owners wish they could ditch their vehicles altogether. For some, that may be an option, especially in places where car sharing has taken off. Reporter: Stephanie Martin

Hoops Controversy

Here's a tale of two young basketball players: one from the streets of Compton, the other from the plush hills of Bel-Air. Both received scholarships to play at the University of Southern California next year, but according to many basketball insiders, only one guy deserved it.
