If you've had to replace any car tires recently, you've probably noticed the?ve gotten more expensive. And the average price for a gallon of regular gas just topped four dollars in California. Throw in car payments, insurance, parking and tolls -- not to mention environmental concerns -- it's enough to make many car owners wish they could ditch their vehicles altogether.
