June 3 State Primary Results

With all eyes on the Democratic contendors for the White House, the state primary election yesterday did not draw much of a crowd to the polls. Fewer than 1 in 5 registered voters showed up in some parts. But across California, political careers riding on the primary scored sweet victories, bitter defeats, or in some cases, a runoff battle in November. That could be the case for Sacramento Mayor Heather Fargo and her challenger, former NBA star Kevin Johnson. With more results, we speak to Sacramento bureau chief John Myers.
