Angora Fire Anniversary
Fires are burning all over California this morning in what has been a fierce fire season already. On this day a year ago, the Angora Fire swept through South Lake Tahoe taking with it more than 250 homes and 3,100 acres of forest land. Today, the destroyed neighborhoods are well on their way to being rebuilt -- but many homeowners aren't using the most fire-safe methods.

Los Angeles Water Recycling
A statewide drought has local officials in Los Angeles rethinking ways to recycle water. A program once dubbed "toilet to tap" is now back as part of a water plan that could save the city as much as two billion gallons of drinking water a year.
