Keeping Watch Over Wildfires
Listen to RealMedia Stream
More than 12,000 people across California have worked to get the recent fires under control. Some are perched above forests,
scanning the horizon for lightning strikes and smoldering trees in hopes of snuffing out trouble before it spreads. We pay
a visit to one woman who's spent the last 20 fire seasons living in a remote tower in Giant Sequoia National Monument.
