California Songs: 'Can't Come Down' by Sam Phillips

We continue our look at songs inspired by the Golden State in our series, California Songs. This week's song was inspired by Aimee Semple McPherson, the evangelist who preached in Los Angeles during the early 1900s. McPherson was known for the drama and intrigue she brought to the pulpit. Singer-songwriter Sam Phillips wrote the song "Can't Come Down."
