Green Chemistry Bill

State regulators will begin identifying hazardous chemicals in consumer products and recommending safer alternatives under a new state law. The bill, signed yesterday by Governor Schwarzenegger, gives the California Environmental Protection Agency broad powers to ban chemicals that pose health risks. Reporter: Sarah Varney
