Governor Proposes Tax Increases and Spending Cuts

The weeks after an election are typically quiet at the state Capitol, but not this year. Governor Schwarzenegger has called the Legislature to a special session to deal with a new budget crisis. The governor's proposed solutions include both tax increases and spending cuts -- solutions that would touch almost everyone. Reporter: John Myers


Uncounted Ballots

The secretary of state's office is still trying to get its arms around just how many ballots remain uncounted across the state. The official number is 1 million ballots from 22 counties. But that number is expected to at least double. Reporter: Kelly Wilkinson
