UC Regents May Slash Enrollment

The class of 2009 is the largest class of high school seniors in California's history. Yet options for college are shrinking in the face of state budget cuts. The Cal State system has already slashed its enrollment for next year, and today the UC regents will vote on a plan to reduce slots for freshmen by six percent. Reporter: Sasha Khokha

Asian Food Import Delays

The Asian Lunar New Year is less than two weeks away. That should be good news for companies that import Chinese-made foods popular at this time of the year, but it's not. Instead of sitting on store shelves, many of those New Year's treats are being held up by federal authorities who want to make sure the food is safe. Reporter: Oanh Ha
