Responding to Obama's Call to Service

President Barack Obama hopes to persuade ordinary Americans to join him in a new spirit of public service. At yesterday's swearing in ceremony in Washington, Scott Shafer talked with Californians about that call to duty.

Not everybody had the luxury of returning to a job after watching the inauguration. Like the nation, California is suffering from high unemployment. For some of those on the down side of the down economy, the change in Washington offered a little hope for the future. Reporter: Sasha Khokha
