Water districts, farmers and environmentalists are among the many interested parties keeping a close eye on what this year's
drought will mean for parceling out water supplies later this year. But one impact is already very clear. January is the traditional
spawning period for salmon, and one of the driest Januaries on record does not bode well for one of the state's most vulnerable
