Rising Seas

The California coast is known for its dramatic sea cliffs, but if global warming causes the ocean to keep rising at the rate that scientists now say is likely, there's a lot of California in harm's way. Now, one report has put a new price tag on the problem. Craig Miller reports as part of our ongoing series, Climate Watch. Reporter: Craig Miller


Getting Through to the EDD

Given California's double digit unemployment rate, these are busy times for the state's Employment Development Department. Every time somebody dials the agency's toll-free number, they get a pre-recorded message that is generating quite a bit of frustration.
