A Funeral for Oakland's Fallen Officers

More than 19,000 people packed into the Oracle Arena this morning for a final tribute and farewell to the four Oakland police officers killed in the line of duty last weekend. Waves of men and women in uniform from all over the nation joined ordinary citizens and elected officials honoring them with tributes, prayers, tears and funny personal stories. Guest: Cy Musiker, KQED Public Radio reporter who attended the ceremony.

Property Tax Scams

If you own a home in California, you may have gotten a letter or two from companies offering to help lower your property taxes. It may sound good, but be careful. State and county officials say there are some shady companies out there trying to take advantage of plunging home prices -- and their marketing tactics are getting pretty sophisticated.Reporter: Stephanie Martin

LGBT Farmworker Discrimination

Many California farmworkers are so desperate to keep their jobs that they rarely complain when there's a problem at work. When those farmworkers are gay, lesbian or transgender, they may face harassment or even earn less pay because of their sexual orientation. Now, a new project is helping them learn about their rights under California law. Reporter: Sasha Khokha
