Retracing Muir's Footsteps
Listen to RealMedia Stream
When California was a young state, John Muir crossed the San Francisco Bay to Oakland and began walking to Yosemite. This
morning, a Stanford graduate student is setting out by foot on the same 300 mile trek. His goal is not just to replicate Muir's
journey, but to use 21st century tools to document conservation efforts in one of California's fastest-changing regions. Reporter: Sasha Khokha
