Jews around the world are observing Passover this week, and this year Passover coincides with another religious ritual. Birkat Ha-Chammah, or 'blessing of the sun' occurs just once every 28 years. It marks the sun's return to the precise place in the sky that it was the moment of its creation. We attended one of the celebrations in Berkeley.
