Grim budget decisions were the main focus of
this week's UC regents meeting, but there were other
items on the agenda, including a proposal to right a
wrong that occurred more than 65 years ago in
California. We profile some former University of
California students who never got a chance to collect
their diplomas. [UC officials need help in
identifying students who were unable to graduate because
of internment during World War II. Anyone with questions
or information is asked to e-mail
honorarydegree@ucop.edu or call (510) 987-0239.] Reporter: Nina Thorsen
