Google's plan to create a universal online
library will have its day in court--again--starting next
Monday. The Internet search and advertising giant is
trying to thresh out a class-action settlement with
authors and publishers. But the case has drawn a wide
range of critics who say Google's book project gives one
company a dangerous degree of control over a vast
