Finding Solutions for Pesticide Drift, Part 2

Photo: Sasha Khokha
The U.S. EPA is proposing new labeling
guidelines for chemicals to help limit pesticide drift.
The agency also said on Wednesday, it will consider a
petition from farmworker and public health advocates
asking to ban pesticide spraying near schools,
hospitals, and child care centers. Part of the evidence
in the petition comes from projects where rural
residents are monitoring the air in their own neighborhoods. Reporter: Sasha Khokha
