Young Women and Breast Cancer

When we think of breast cancer survivors, we often think of women in their 50s, 60s and 70s. But breast cancer is also the most deadly form of cancer for young women. Women in their 20s and 30s with breast cancer face unique challenges, including dating, raising children, and dealing with doctors who aren't trained to screen young women for the disease.
