Californians Rally in Support of Oaxacan Demonstrators
In Oaxaca, Mexico, federal riot police and protesters were at a standoff Monday after violent clashes over the weekend. California is home to one of the largest Oaxacan immigrant populations in the U.S. At rallies in Los Angeles, Oxnard and Fresno Monday, activists protested the Mexican government's crackdown on teachers and other demonstrators.

Props Would Authorize Billions in Bonds for Infrastructure
In one week, California voters will decide whether the state should take on tens of billions of dollars in debt. Four statewide bonds would fund school construction, flood control, highway improvements, and affordable housing. Today, a closer look at the measures that would fund transportation, housing and levees.
