Charges Against Commission Led by Rob Reiner
A new report from California's state auditor levels charges against a commission once chaired by actor and director Rob Reiner. But it apparently rejects the explosive allegation that Reiner used taxpayer dollars for a political campaign endorsing universal preschool.

Prop 89 Asks Voters to OK Dramatic Changes to Campaign Finance Rules
A ballot measure this November would dramatically alter the way campaigns are funded in California by using higher taxes on corporations and banks to fund the campaigns of candidates running for state office. It would also limit corporate contributions to $10,000 per ballot measure.
